I do NOT recommend the moon wall shelf by La La pet. 2 thumbs down. At $140+, the seller/manufacturer should have done better. Too pricey for what you get.I would consider myself a pretty handy DIYer and when a seller sells an incomplete product, it’s really disappoints not to mention, means a frustrated buyer.First glaring issue? there are zero assembly instructions. Zero paperwork, nothing to guide you in assembly. Second, On first glance, it appears that you don’t have enough screws and that’s when you realize that not every slat is screwed onto one of the moon face ends. (Only 4 slats actually screw into this other moon face end, while all 12 slats screw into the other moon face end.)This leaves the moon less than sturdy for larger cats, such as average sized Maine coons, or even your normal adult weight cats. Considering the generous sleeping size, and being made of average wood, this could have been better designed. There is NO cat weight limit listed in the product info, so proceed with caution if buying for anything heavier than an 8-10lb cat.To make this moon shelf work, I drilled the other 8 holes into that moon end and that makes this so much more sturdy. Funny to note, but Each slat does has a drilled hole in each end, so why this company cheaped out and didn’t finish drilling holes into the other moon end, is beyond me. It’s just not sturdy enough without both ends of each slat being screwed in.Otherwise, the paint looks good, with average/ low quality wood, cheap paper stickers (enough for covering the screw holes that they NEVER actually drilled!!) and two cute hangable wood toys. (I added a picture of what you actually get, which arrives only in a shipping box, no product box. Note: the each slat is drilled on both ends, but note the lack of screw holes in the left moon face and lack of screws if you wanted to fix this product by drilling the other holes. Product was not sturdy without drilling the matching holes and buying the needed extra screws)So with the poor construction design and lack of any assembly instructions or paperwork (it wasn’t even shipped in a product box! Just thrown into a brown shipping box cheaping out every chance they could) makes this a no for me we’re I to repeat buy. I chose to fix mine vs return as it came from overseas, direct from the seller, but I would not order this item again. Do better La La Pet. At $140+ this should have been much better designed with higher quality parts/wood.
